SFX Minipack: No Input Mixer

This is an experimental sound library consisting of sounds recorded using the "No Input Mixer" technique, where the output of an audio mixer is routed into its input without an external sound source connected. By adjusting various parameters of the hardware, some very interesting sounds can be produced!

A Behringer Xenyx 502 mixer was used in conjuction with a Line 6 M5 multi-FX unit to create the sounds. The routing was as follows:

• Mixer output 1 --> Multi-FX input
• Multi-FX output --> Mixer input
• Mixer output 2 --> Audio recording interface
